Over the weekend, we’ll dive deep into both the science and the tactile joy of natural finishes:
Sourcing & Testing Raw Materials: Learn how to identify wild clay, understand the balance of sand and fiber, and read your soil.
The Art of the Mix: Step-by-step instruction on making clay and blended plasters completely from scratch using local, earth-friendly materials.
Application Techniques: Master the use of trowels, hawks, and bare hands to apply base and finish coats over various walls.
Climate & Breathability: Learn how natural finishes regulate indoor humidity, prevent mold, and keep homes healthy and beautiful.
